MWUTT 31: The Modern Church is Dying in America (Revelation 3:1-6)

Welcome to this episode of Men Who Understood the Times. I am Michael Zarling with Andy Miller and Zach VonDeylen. So Zach, can you tell us, uh, where you're pastor at, and then where you're at right now?

I'm a pastor at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Central Phoenix, Arizona. I've been there since 2020 when I graduated from the seminary. Uh, right now I'm in Pine, Arizona, about two hours north of there, uh, on the last day of my vacation. Uh, but the opportunity to be here with you two is one I couldn't pass up, I suppose. So here I am in the 46-degree weather outside while my family sleeps.

There you go. So Zach, how old are you?

32, okay. I was just thinking going, when you were talking about just being a, a younger pastor going, "Oh my goodness, you're almost the age of my oldest daughter." I'm get- starting to get old, Andy. I don't know if... Maybe the white beard gives it away.
