I am sitting in my office at Water of Life in Racine

And I'm sitting in my brand-new office in, at Lord of Lords in Casper, Wyoming

And we're able to record together because of the magic of the interwebs.

That's right. And Nathan, I really wanted to, uh, just put this on YouTube afterwards.

No. Especially since I have my camera up above my desk, so if you're looking at me right now, you're probably just seeing the glare coming off my head.

I am.

Mm-hmm.

I am. So, uh, and I actually turned off the light in my office so that it, it wasn't a glare behind me, my big empty office, 'cause I haven't put any books on or anything. S- Only the second time I've been in this office.

And as you are well aware, if I turned off the lights in my office, I would just be sitting in the dark- ... except for the, the slight dim little light that comes through the window that's up on the ce- that's up on the wall. So-

It's kind of a dungeon down there

... it is a little bit of a dungeon, and I also appreciate the fact that when they put the drop ceiling in down here, they covered up half of the window.

Oh, yeah.

So.

Yeah. So you've been keeping yourself busy with-

I have been

... just being by yourself now?

I have been. It's like somebody left, and I now have to do the work of two men, except the man who laughed was like, left was like a man and a half, so.

Even though I'm the size of half a man.

That's true.

Uh, yeah, I've been out here for a week now, and I've been hiking or biking every morning. In fact, today I went over, uh, 107 miles of biking and hiking since I arrived in Casper. Uh, so just really enjoying it. Yesterday, Shelly and Bell and I went down to, uh, downtown Casper. They, they had a parade on July 8th. It's kinda, it seems like kinda weird date to have a, uh, a parade, but the whole city of Casper shuts down for this parade, which was an hour and a half. That was a, it was a nice parade. It was 85 degrees, but there's no humidity, and we found a tree in the park and just sat under, under it. And, uh, we went out to, got some pizza last night 'cause we f- finally unloaded our second truck that the moving company seemed to have lost for a week. Uh, but so that's what we have to do the next two days, is get everything else unpa- excuse me, unpacked, like, get everything set up, at least the living room, the family room, and kitchen, dining room, because we have pastors and their wives coming over on Saturday afternoon after the installation. And but the nice thing was that even though they had lost the truck, so we had loaded one truck with all of the stuff. Half of it was really Shelly's craft stuff. And then the second truck, you helped load up, and that was the important stuff, the bikes and things. And-

And the kayaks

... that's the bike... Yeah, and that's the, that's the one that arrived first. So at least if we had nothing- ... else, like clothes to wear, I had, I had my bikes.

Well, you had, and you had the curio cabinets, but nothing to put in them probably.

Nope. Nope, exactly. We had the liquor, uh, for the, uh, the organ bar I had made, but we couldn't, couldn't put them out because we didn't have the organ bar. Yeah. Uh, yeah, it, it, so it's, uh, exciting to get started this week. Uh, right after we're done recording this, I'll put away all my books on my shelf and then write a sermon, and then get back home and start unpacking there.

Okay.

Yeah. But, you know, if you wanna come over and help unpack, Nathan, it, it would help because that's the theme of this week, right?

Yeah. And it's just a, you know, a short trip, as I'm sure you're aware, out to Wyoming.

Yeah. We did it, we did three hours the first day, which was just a jaunt over to Dubuque, Iowa to spend a day with my daughter, Lydia, and then we, we pounded out 13 and a half hours-

... to Wyoming.
