And I'm Pastor Nathan Klusmeyer.

Hey, and Nathan, what's the weather like there in Racine, Wisconsin?

Um, it's, uh, it's fall in Wisconsin, so it's, it's windy and drizzly and, like, 40.

Okay.

I heard you got snow already.

We did, yes. Last Saturday-

And out-

Yeah, last Saturday morning, I got up and then I went on a five-mile ruck with my dog Mia in the snow. Uh, yeah, we had several inches of snow on Saturday already, but, uh, one of the things I've learned about the winters out here is they say, ah, it snows and then it's gone, and by that late afternoon it was gone. Several inches just disappeared.

You mean blew away?

No.

Oh.

No, it just, it just melted, 'cause the snow will melt cl-

Oh

... because we're up higher. In fact, I know I hiked up to church this morning and, you know, I started with long sleeve shirt and sweatshirt, 'cause it's 37 degrees out, and yet, uh, I ended up taking the sweatshirt off and rolling up my sleeves, 'cause 37 degrees here with the sun shining and no wind blowing is different than 37 degrees in Racine.

Yeah, it's like 40 here and the wind's blowing, like, 20 miles per hour and-

Yeah

... yeah, it's... It went from, you know, well, you remember living in Wisconsin.

I do.

It went from being, it went from being 90 and sunny to 40 and miserable.

Yeah. Well, and I... You know, I'm talking about the weather so that everyone moves out here, even though my members and the previous pastor said, "Michael," or, "Pastor, stop talking about how nice it is out here. We don't want people moving out here."

Um, I was thinking this morning during catechism class, 'cause I looked out the window and I'm like, when I looked out the window on Tuesday, there was no sun and it was dreary and, oh, well, it's, it's almost winter in Wisconsin-

Yeah

... where the sun, the sun goes and hides for four months.

Yeah, and that's one of the things that I think we're gonna enjoy is we're gonna see the sun all winter long, as opposed to from, uh, yeah, October through, what, March or April not seeing the sun.

Well, that's how long they-

Well, now lately through June, really

Yeah, and that's how long they say the, the winter is out here, too. Uh, because there are places north of us in the Bighorns and so forth that, uh, you know, they've gotten, you know, tw- a dozen inches of snow. Or in, you know, Denver area, we're gonna be going Monday and Tuesday, uh, down into Loveland and, uh, Denver, Fort Collins. I've got circuit meeting there. So as opposed to, you know, dr- biking the five miles to go to circuit study like I used to in Racine from my house to the summers campus, uh, that, uh, of New Life that now it's two and a half hours one way to get to, to get to a circuit study. Uh, and yeah, and then we're gonna go to the Rocky Mountain National Park where some of the areas in that park have been closed because of snow already, so it's-

That's, that's, that's horrible.
