In this week’s Thirsty podcast, Pastor Klusmeyer and Pastor Zarling examine that Christians are planted by the Word. We study 1 Corinthians 3:5-11 where St. Paul emphasizes that as Christians we sow the seed of God’s Word wherever God places us. God makes that seed grow when and where it pleases him. Then we discuss Matthew 13:1-9,18-23, where Jesus tells the parable of the sower and the seed. He pictures the ministry of the Christian Church scattering the seed of the Word, knowing that most people will not believe for long. Yet, we thank God for the bountiful harvest among some.
