Men’s & Women’s Study on Esther

Last year, the men studied Ezra and Nehemiah. The events of those two books take place around the time of the events in the book of Esther. The women studied various women of the Bible. This year, for our Men’s and Women’s studies, we’ll be studying Esther. There will be some general questions shared by both groups, as well as questions and applications specific to the men or the women. We’ll again have our Men’s and Women’s studies on the second Saturday of each month at 10 AM, beginning on September 12.

While God is never mentioned in the book of Esther, his presence and providence are evident as he directs history to protect his people and prevent their destruction. By this book, the Holy Spirit also invites us to see God at work in the seemingly chance events of our daily lives, making everything work out for the good of those who love him.
