What do you think of when you hear "the day is coming"? When the Lord says through Malachi, "the day is coming," He wants everyone to think of the day of final judgment.

We might be tempted to argue with people who claim Christians are hypocritical, judgmental, self-righteous, arrogant, unforgiving, and disrespectful, claiming those associations are not fair. Instead we should remember that if God's grace were truly fair, everyone would end up in Hell. So we thank God for His amazing grace, and we spread that good news to everyone.

Yes, we do want God to knock us off our high horse, otherwise it will cost us our salvation.
