MWUTT 18: How do Christians view Latter-day Saints?

Welcome to our Truth N Love Ministry where we're gonna be talking about Mormonism today for men who understood the times. Uh, I'm Michael. We got Andy and Josh here. Uh, and I don't think we really need a disclaimer today because we're just gonna be talking about Mormonism, uh, because Andy's been living this out in Las Vegas. He went through Truth N Love Ministry training. I'm an expert now too 'cause I went through the training and I read the book. And then, Josh, you probably know as much about Mormonism as I knew about SEL in the last episode.

No, you guys are the experts. I've, I've read about, um, the Church of Latter-day Saints and speaking the truth and a lot of the Mormons and books like that. Um, however, just, uh, you know, you're not going to encounter everything in your ministry, and, um, I- I've really not encountered that particular facet before in, in brass tacks terms. And so, um, I'll contribute what I can, but you guys are the experts tonight.

Well, it's interesting you, you call it the Church of Latter-day Saints too because I'll talk about the conversation I had with the president of the temple and, and I, and I called them Mormons, and then the young man I was with who is an intern with Truth N Love Ministries, Caleb, uh, he said, "Is that offensive? To call you Mormons?" And the president said, "Well, we, we prefer Latter-day Saints." I said, "Well, I'd asked a question about history of the Mormons." And I said, "And in history in Casper, they call it Mormon history, so that's what I'm referring to."
